The music video for this song is highly controversial. Norell had a vision and directed the music video. Zander and Norell both act in the video and together they edited and produced it according to Norell's vision. It could be said that the character Zander portrays doesn't paint him in the best light. They both received flack from and even lost some friends because they managed to strike a nerve. One of them got really upset and was unable to separate acting from reality. The music video for "Promises" managed to make some people feel, and this was TBF's humble goal. The Band Famous aspires to move and inspire others. The pleasure is ours.
